Description of Finish
Brushed Nickel is produced through an electroplating process that deposits nickel and chrome layers onto the base material. A brushing treatment is then applied to create a subtly textured, linear surface that diffuses light and minimizes the appearance of fingerprints and water spots.

Cleaning Instructions
- Use a soft, damp cloth with mild liquid dish soap; use for a limited time only, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Dry immediately with a soft cloth — do not allow water to air-dry on the surface.
- Periodically apply a quality non-abrasive wax (such as car wax or furniture wax) to protect the finish. Note: waxing may cause a slight color change but will not damage the finish. Test on a less visible area first.
- To remove dried water spots: apply a 50/50 solution of household white vinegar and water (limited time only), then rinse thoroughly and dry immediately. If spots remain, contact our support team for guidance before attempting further cleaning.
Do Not Use
- Strong cleaners such as lime/calcium/rust (scale) removers
- Green fiber sponges or abrasive pads — contain mineral particles that scratch the finish
- Steel wool of any grade
- Bleach, ammonia-based cleaners, alcohol
- Wet wipes, disinfectant wipes, or any pre-moistened cleaning cloth — many contain alcohol, bleach, or other solvents that can damage the finish
- Any cleaner not specifically confirmed safe for electroplated surfaces — when in doubt, use only mild dish soap and water as described above
Description of Finish
Brushed Gold is produced through a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process, which molecularly bonds a durable gold-toned coating onto the base material. A brushing treatment is applied to create a linear texture, resulting in a warm, lustrous surface with superior resistance to tarnishing and corrosion.

Description of Finish
Matte Black is produced through an electrophoresis process, in which the coating is deposited onto the base material using an electric current in a liquid bath, forming a uniform, flat layer that bonds firmly to the surface. The result is a zero-reflectivity matte finish with strong resistance to chipping and fading under daily use conditions.

Cleaning Instructions
- Frequent light cleaning is preferred over occasional deep cleaning — wipe down regularly.
- Use a soft, damp cloth with mild liquid dish soap; use for a limited time only, then rinse immediately and dry with a soft cloth.
- To remove dried water spots: use a 50/50 solution of household white vinegar and water (limited time), then rinse and dry immediately. If spots remain after vinegar treatment, contact our support team before attempting further cleaning.
Do Not Use
- Wax of any kind — wax will permanently alter the matte appearance
- Abrasive cleaners, abrasive sponges, or steel wool of any grade
- Alcohol, bleach, ammonia

Description of Finish
Polished Chrome is produced through an electroplating process that deposits chrome and nickel layers onto the base material, creating a mirror-bright, highly reflective surface. The finish is stable and does not tarnish under normal conditions.

Cleaning Instructions
- Always wipe in the direction of the grain using a soft cloth with mild liquid dish soap; use for a limited time only, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Dry immediately with a soft cloth — do not allow water to air-dry on the surface.
- Periodically apply a quality non-abrasive wax to protect and maintain the finish. Note: waxing may cause a slight color change but will not damage the finish.
- For mineral deposits: use a dedicated stainless steel cleaner that does not contain bleach or abrasives, applied with a soft cloth, then rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
Do Not Use
- Steel wool pads — these scratch the surface and may introduce rust particles
- Bleach or any bleach-containing product — even diluted bleach causes corrosion
- Any liquid cleaner or standing water left on the surface for extended periods — prolonged moisture exposure can cause surface staining
- Wet wipes, disinfectant wipes, or any pre-moistened cleaning cloth — many contain alcohol, bleach, or other solvents that can damage the finish

By Valve
Valve Body Cleaning & Flushing
When installing a new cartridge, we recommend cleaning and flushing the valve body first. This removes mineral deposits and loose debris that may have accumulated inside the valve, which can damage a new cartridge or restrict water flow.
Deckmount Faucets — Bathroom Faucet / Kitchen Faucet
The following steps assume the handle, related handle parts, and the cartridge have already been removed. Refer to your product's installation guide if needed.
Recommended Tools

Cleaning Steps
- Wrap a towel around the base of the faucet to protect the surrounding surface. Place a large bowl nearby and ready.
- Use a nylon-bristle brush to gently scrub the inside walls of the valve body to remove mineral deposits and debris.

⚠ Two people may be required for this step. Person A holds a large bowl firmly and closely over the open valve body to fully capture the water flow, redirecting it back into the sink. Person B opens the water supply valve only slightly — turn just enough to hear water begin to flow, then stop adjusting. If water sprays beyond the bowl, close the valve immediately and contact our support team before continuing. If separate hot and cold shut-off valves are used, repeat this process for each side independently.Unsure about this step? Contact our support team before proceeding.
- Use a rolled-up paper towel to absorb residual water from the BOTTOM of the valve body. If this water is not removed, the new cartridge will not seat properly.
- Proceed with cartridge installation. Refer to your product-specific guide for detailed cartridge installation instructions.
Wallmount Faucets — Shower Valve & Trim / Tub Filler
The following steps assume the handle, related handle parts, and the cartridge have already been removed. Refer to your product's installation guide if needed.

Cleaning Steps
- N/A — no preparation step required for wallmount installations.
- Use a nylon-bristle brush to gently scrub the inside walls of the valve body to remove mineral deposits and debris.

⚠ SAFETY: Stand fully outside of the bathtub or shower enclosure, with the door or curtain closed if possible, before opening the water supply. Open the water supply valve only slightly — turn just enough to hear water begin to flow, then stop adjusting. If water sprays beyond the enclosure or you are unable to control the flow, close the valve immediately and contact our support team before continuing.
